We the undersigned in pursuance of an act numbered 97 entitled an act to provide for the incorporation of associations for the publication of periodicals newspapers books tracts documents and other publications approved March 7th 1861 desiring to avail ourselves of the privileges and powers granted and conferred by said act and to become incorporated under the said act do hereby associate ourselves together as a body corporate for the purpose of publishing periodicals newspapers books tracts documents and other publications of a religious historical literary agricultural scientific or educational character and do hereby certify as follows to wit;
The name of such corporation shall be and is “Seventh day Adventist Publishing Association.”
Its location is and shall be in the City of Battle Creek County of Calhoun and State of Michigan.
The name and place of residence of the share holders and the number of shares held by each of them respectively is as follows to wit:
