Samuel Whitcomb Credentials
This certifies that Elder Samuel Whitcomb sustains a moral and christian character and is a member in good standing in the church of God at Elba, New York denominated Free Will Baptist. We also believe the Lord our God has commissioned him to preach the Gospel as Jesus Christ and administer his ordinances; and as such we commend him to all saints where God shall direct him.
Done for and by order of the Holland Purchase Yearly Ministers Conference at Boston New York this 30th day of August AD 1834.
