Be it known to all whom it may concern that Isaac Firter the bearer hereof, having been set apart and ordained Elder in the Methodist Protestant Church Society is hereby recognized by the Methodist Protestant Church in the same office and fully authorized to exercise all his ministerial functions in said Church so long as his faith and practice shall be in accordance with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Done by order and in behalf of the annual Conference of the General District this 7th day of Oct. 1835.
