An Afternoon with Michigan Author Bonnie Jo Campbell

Join your local independent bookstore & library as we host acclaimed author Bonnie Jo Campbell for an afternoon of conversation, featuring a reading by the author of her just-released novel, The Waters. The novel is one of Oprah Daily’s “Best Books of 2024” & is The Today Show’s January Pick for the “Read with Jenna” Book Club. Copies of her books will be available for purchase, & a book signing will follow.

Kingman Museum (Battle Creek, MI) will also attend to educate about the Massasauga rattlesnake with a display featuring a skeleton, skins/sheds, & several wax figures. No live snakes will be present.

This event will be held at the Marshall High School Auditorium for Performing Arts, 701 N Marshall Ave, Marshall, MI 49068. Doors will open at 1:15 pm. This is a ticketed event. Tickets are free; however, you must have one to attend, as seating is limited. Visit the library or bookstore to claim a ticket.
