This certifies that a meeting of the congregation of Seventh day Adventists was held at the stated place of worship in Burlington Michigan on the evening of Oct 8, 1862 legal notice thereof having been given; the object of said meeting being to organize a society of Seventh day Adventists and elect Trustees thereof. That an election was held at which time J.D. Morton, Judson Lab__, and H.J. Rich were elected said Trustees. The Society of which they are Trustees shall be known by the name of The Society of the Seventh day Adventists of Burlington Michigan.
