The undersigned hereby certify that on the sixth day of November 1862, a meeting of citizens was held at the Methodist Church in the Township of Clarendon for the purpose of organizing an association for the protection and regulation of the burying grounds in the vicinity of said Church.
The organization received the name of West Clarendon Cemetery Association.
The following named persons were duly elected officers of said association
