We the undersigned having been duly chosen to preside at an election and to receive the votes and determine the qualifications of voters for the choice of trustees to take charge of the Estate and property of the Methodist Protestant Church at Rice Creek in the county of Calhoun and State of Michigan at a meeting held pursuant to public notice given according to law at the School House in the South East corner of the Town of Lee on the twenty first day of December in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two and having so presided do hereby certify that the following persons were duly chosen elected said trustees, ---: Burt H Carrier, David Hanchett, Amos Hadden, Caleb Hanchett & David H Miller. Given under our hands at the date aforesaid
