We the undersigned do hereby certify that we have this day attended and presided at a meeting of the first Baptist Church and Society of Albion, said meeting having been duly called and notified according to the provisions of the Revised Statutes of the State of Michigan in Title Tenth and Chapter first regulating the corporation of Religious Societies.
We further certify that

Robert Hodgkin
Luman Crittenden
Campbel Waldo
Nicholas Milliman
were duly elected Trustees of said Church and Society to be forever hereafter called and known they and their successors as the Trustees of the First Baptist Church and Society of Albion.
In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this eighth say of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six.
