This certifies that the Baptist Church & Society of Albion met March 2nd 1848 in meeting regularly called & notified according to Revised Statute and that they organized themselves into a Society which shall be called the first Baptist Church & Society of Albion. Luman Crittendon, Osmon Rice, Jariah R. Lewis were chosen Trustees for the aforesaid Society in witness whereof we have this 30th day of March 1848 hereunto set our hand & seal.
