"Carlton Leonard Engelter, son of William Leonard and Margaret E. (Wright) Engelter, was born 29 Jul 1892 in Marshall, Michigan and died Aug 1970. He was married twice. On 24 Dec 1911, in Brookfield, Michigan, he married Hazel Marie Weeks, daughter of Orville Milton and Jennie Commode (Waterson) Weeks. She was born 15 Oct 1890 in Olivet, Michigan and died 31 Jul 1938 in Lansing, Michigan. They had five children: Harold (1912-1913), Wayne Carlton (1913-1995), Margaret A. “Tibby” (1913-2003), Donna Lucile and Carlton Kenneth (1929-2007). On 17 May 1941, in Lucas Co., Ohio, he married Bessie May (Ives) Smith (1892-1980).

Wayne Carlton Engelter was born 17 Aug 1913 in Albion, Michigan and died 10 Jun 1995 in Windsor, Michigan. On 7 Mar 1941, in Lansing, Michigan, he married Bethel Elinor Woodman (1921-1987). They had one known daughter, Carolyn M.

Margaret A. “Tibby” Engelter was born 17 May 1919 in Albion, Michigan and died 30 Jun 2003 in Lansing, Michigan. On 2 Apr 1938, in Lansing, Michigan, she married Bruce Gordon Smith (1919-2004), son of Oscar Fredrick and Bessie May (Ives) Smith. They had three children: Larry L., Linda and Karla.

Photographer is B. C. Tuttle, Albion. Michigan."
