Know all men by this that I, Elijah H Pilcher presiding Elder of the Marshall district in the Michigan Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church have this day appointed L* Grant, Chester M. Cobb, Peter Williamson, O* West, Chandler M. Church, William Farley, and A* Horrick trustees of the first society of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Albion, Calhoun County Michigan, done according to the provisions of an act of the legislature of the State of Michigan. Approved Feby 15th 1840. Dated March 17th 1840.
